"Hello to my beautiful people of all Federation.
"Well this thing I have to say is short but also long.
I and ANNIE MARCULAY have been separated for a while now. And currently filed divorce. I would grant a press release soon to say my story, not because it is anyone's right to know about my personal life; but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offense. Stay blessed my people. I love you all.

This announcement has generated reactions and controversies from friends, associates and fans of Annie Marculey who argued that the musician should have concealed it considering the challenges they have had recently as a couple including the painful miscarriage of twins experienced by Annie last year.

"I’m not one for too much talk, but what is wrong is wrong, and as a woman, if you sit on the fence on this one, if it misses you, it’ll touch your daughter or any female in your family.

“No one is innocent, and if you want to bring the media into it, knowing what is happening, we would fight for her,” Toke posted.

Nollywood Actress Mary Remmy Njoku reacting to the divorce saga, challenged 2face to get ready to answer questions at the appropriate time, berating him for "humiliating" Annie at her "lowest".
