Prince Ilokwe Anthony Chibuike, popularly known as Ike-Imo, an illustrious Ideato North son and aspirant for the Ideato North Constituency seat in the House of Assembly, has poured accolades on Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, the Representative Member for Ideato North and South Federal Constituency.
Ike-Imo commended Ugochinyere for his remarkable gesture of disbursing N61 million to the bereaved families of the victims of the deadly attack in Arondizuogu/Umualaoma, Akokwa and Osina communities in Ideato North LGA.
On August 19, 2025, Ugochinyere transparently distributed the funds, donated by his friends and associates, to the 26 victims' families of the Arondizuogu/Umualaoma attack and 10 Victims' families of the Osina massacre.
Ike-Imo described Ugochinyere as a true humanitarian, a source of comfort, strength, and joy to his people. He noted that, having witnessed various lawmakers and legislative power shifts over the years, Ugochinyere has demonstrably outperformed his contemporaries.
Ike-Imo characterized Ugochinyere as a paradigm shift from the stereotypical self-serving politician, highlighting his effective representation, which is deeply felt across Ideato Nation. "Ugochinyere's performance exceeds expectations, as he goes beyond his legislative duties, providing essential amenities and dividends of democracy. In our LGAs, where officials have failed to utilize allocations effectively, Ugochinyere has stepped in, demonstrating a genuine commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
