Prince Ilokwe Anthony Chibuike popularly known as Ike-Imo, a dedicated Member and critical stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ideato North has declared his resignation from the party, expressing lack of peace of mind in the mechanics of the party.
The erstwhile APC Councillorship Aspirant for Umuokwara/Umuezeaga Ward in Ideato North LGA, over the weekend revealed to Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper that he resigned from APC to satisfy his conscience.
The accomplished Imo Entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Onono Master Groups expressed lack of confidence and trust in the party. He maintained that a good political party must have respect for rule of law, justice and democratic principles which must be upheld by its members, irrespective of any member's position, affluence or credentials.
Ilokwe unequivocally condemned his removal from APC platforms few days ago without a justifiable reason, adding that his type of person is not needed in the party because of his nonalignment with their cardinal values and core mandates.
The youthful leader reinstated his commitment to good governance, effective representation and people oriented leadership saying that the election is over but the outcome of the election will not deter him from rendering quality service to the masses, especially at the grassroot level.
He informed the public to keep their fingers crossed as he continues in his consultations to join a reputable political party that aligns with his values, personal principles and ideology.
